Summer is a time for adventure, socialising, and drawing inspiration from new experiences. And of course, writing together would be one of them! Whether it’s working on a new publication, taking part in a challenge, or hosting a write-together session, writing with other creatives in the summer breeze is just a special experience for many of us.

To support writer communities, we are granting $250 for each eligible community project. All you need to do is apply here (or below) and host on t2, following the guidelines.

  1. Decide how you’ll use the grant

    Develop a plan, considering the following details:

    Complete the application form at the bottom of this page, or use this link. It only takes a few minutes.

  3. Approval & funding

    Shortlisted applicants will receive a response within 48 hours to schedule a call for us to learn more about your project. We aim to give a final decision within 24 hours after the meeting. Successful applicants will receive the grant based on the timeline of their project

🙋 What type of writing projects are eligible?

We welcome projects in any form, for writings in any genre, covering any topic. It must satisfy the follow.

  1. Take place anytime between now and 1 September, 2024.
  2. Make use of a t2 Territory. “Territory” is our version of a “subreddit” but for long-form writing. Anyone can start one and invite members to join.
  3. Use Time Points (t.p.) as a metric for this event: determining winners, incentivising readers, or giving away special awards.
